This December, LSNF CA  had the absolute honour of being part of something truly special at Canuck Place Children’s Hospice in British Columbia, Canada.

Canuck Place is a pediatric hospice home that supports children and youth (ages 0–19) with life-threatening illnesses, while also walking alongside their families through incredibly uncertain times. Their compassionate team provides pediatric palliative care, pain and symptom management, medical respite, grief and bereavement counselling, and loving end-of-life care. They also create space for joy through art, music, education, play, and recreation therapy—helping families make lasting memories and live life to the fullest. And incredibly, all of this care is provided at no cost to families, thanks to the generosity of donors.

During the holiday season, Canuck Place hosted a festive “Shrek the Halls” party, and we were so excited to be part of the magic! We donated Shrek-themed St. Nick gift bags, hoping to bring some extra smiles, laughter, and holiday cheer to the kids and families celebrating together.

We are so proud to support Canuck Place and the life-changing work they do every single day. This experience truly touched our hearts, and we can’t wait to give even more love, joy, and support to their patients and families in 2026 and beyond.
