The Little Saint Nick Foundation Canada Delivers 200 St. Nick Gift Bags to Pediatric Patients at Michael Garron Hospital

The Little Saint Nick Foundation Canada continued its uplifting mission of “Kids Inspiring and Helping Kids” with a successful event on June 26, 2024. Strides Toronto came together to pack 200 St. Nick Gift Bags for pediatric patients at Michael Garron Hospital, bringing comfort and joy to children in crisis.

With a shared mission to improve the lives of children facing hardship, the Toronto team gathered with great excitement to create heartfelt get-well cards and pack a variety of Little Saint Nick Gift Bags. The smiles and happiness the gift bags brought to the young patients are a testament to the foundation's continued efforts to support children and communities nationwide.

“We were excited to learn that one day after Michael Garron Hospital received our donation of Little Saint Nick Gift Bags, they were already making a difference within the hospital,” said Raymond Mohler, Jr., President of The Little Saint Nick Foundation Canada.

The mission of the LSNF is to inspire kids in local communities to give back by packing St. Nick Gift Bags filled with stuffed animals, coloring books, crayons, pop-it toys,  and handwritten inspirational cards made by kids for kids. These items are distributed to children as they enter healthcare facilities such as Michael Garron Hospital.

“We have been giving out the gift bags and they have been a tremendous hit. So, thank you so much as the impact has been felt immediately!” said Adina Hauser, Manager of Child Health Services at Michael Garron Hospital.

LSNF's programs have benefited over 2 million children to date, demonstrating the significant impact of their efforts since 2004. Their entry into Canada marks an important milestone in their mission to increase their beneficial influence. With plans to extend further across the nation, the foundation is dedicated to continuing its work in the Toronto community and beyond.
