Queens University Students in Canada Raise Funds for 150 St. Nick Gift Bags Through Valentine’s Day Fundraiser
The Little Saint Nick Foundation Canada is incredibly grateful to the inspiring students at Queen’s University for coming together this February to support local pediatric patients.
Through a creative and compassionate Valentine’s Day fundraiser, students sold themed gift bags on campus, raising enough funds to support the packing and delivery of 150 St. Nick Gift Bags to children receiving care at a hospital right by campus.
Each St. Nick Gift Bag, filled with items such as a stuffed animal, pop-it toy, coloring book, crayons, and a handmade inspiration card, is designed to bring comfort and joy to young patients experiencing the stress of hospitalization. The fundraiser was a powerful example of Kids Inspiring and Helping Kids™ in action.
“We are beyond thankful for the generosity, creativity, and heart of the Queen’s University students,” said Zack Andersen, COO of The Little Saint Nick Foundation. “These students are the reason our mission continues to grow—one act of kindness at a time.”
The Little Saint Nick Foundation Canada is proud to expand its reach across the nation, with student-led initiatives like this one making a direct and lasting impact on children in crisis.
