Krause Performance Center Hosts Packing Event for 500 St. Nick Gift Bags Donated to Cohen Children’s Medical Center
In early May, the Krause Performance Center brought together the East Rockaway community for a powerful act of service in support of The Little Saint Nick Foundation (LSNF). Local families, volunteers, and community members joined forces to pack an incredible 500 St. Nick Gift Bags for pediatric patients at Northwell Health’s Cohen Children’s Medical Center.
The event was filled with heart and purpose, as each gift bag was thoughtfully assembled with a stuffed animal, pop-it toy, coloring book, crayons, and a handmade inspiration card. These gifts are designed to bring comfort, encouragement, and joy to young patients during their hospital stay.
“We are deeply grateful to Krause Performance and the entire East Rockaway community for turning out in such a meaningful way,” said Raymond Mohler Jr., Founder and CEO of The Little Saint Nick Foundation. “Packing 500 bags is no small feat—it’s a powerful reflection of our mission, Kids Inspiring and Helping Kids™, in action.”
The 500 St. Nick Gift Bags were delivered to Cohen Children’s Medical Center shortly after the event and are already making a difference for children and families navigating difficult times.
