The University of Miami’s Debate Team Hosts a Supply Drive For Patients At Nicklaus Children’s Hospital
Embodying the spirit of giving, The University of Miami's Debate Team organized a successful supply drive in early December, collecting a variety of items to bring joy to young patients at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. The initiative, part of their ongoing commitment to community service, saw students rallying together to contribute items for St. Nick Gift Bags.
The collected items include stuffed animals, coloring books, crayons, and pop-it toys, creating a diverse and delightful assortment of gifts for children of all ages. Some students went above and beyond by donating additional toys, showcasing the generosity and compassion within the University of Miami community.
The anticipation is building as students look forward to packing the St. Nick Gift Bags, a heartwarming event scheduled for early February. The bags, filled with love and thoughtfulness, will then be directly donated to Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, aiming to bring smiles to the faces of young patients.
Stay tuned for updates highlighting the dedication of students making a positive difference in the local community.
