United Way of Long Island Donates 400 St. Nick Gift Bags to Cohen Children’s!

At the end of January, United Way of Long Island generously awarded the Little Saint Nick Foundation a $4,000 grant, making it possible to pack 400 St. Nick Gift Bags for children receiving care at Cohen Children's Medical Center.

This incredible opportunity was made possible through the support of the Long Island Insurance Community, whose fundraising efforts for United Way help invest in impactful local programs. Because of this partnership, hundreds of children facing hospitalization will receive a St. Nick Gift Bag filled with comfort items, including a Squishmallow, Pop-It sensory toy, coloring book, crayons, and a heartfelt handwritten Inspiration Card to remind them they are never alone.

A very special thank you to Eric Guzzo for helping make this event possible and for his continued commitment to supporting children and families across Long Island. We are deeply grateful for your leadership and dedication to bringing hope, comfort, and smiles to local pediatric patients.

Together, we're proving that when businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders come together, we can make a lasting difference—one child, one gift bag, and one act of kindness at a time.
