Yale Students Celebrate Bulldog Days by Giving Back!
In celebration of Bulldog Days, students at Yale University came together to pack 200 St. Nick Gift Bags for children receiving care at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital.
As Yale welcomed its newest class to campus, these students chose to make a meaningful impact by assembling gift bags filled with comforting items, including a Squishmallow, Pop-It sensory toy, coloring book, crayons, and a heartfelt handwritten Inspiration Card. Their kindness will help bring comfort, hope, and smiles to pediatric patients during some of their most difficult days.
This event is a wonderful example of our Kids Inspiring and Helping Kids™ mission, showing that a spirit of service can begin on day one of college and create a lasting impact in the local community.
A very special thank you to the Yale Alumni Group for generously sponsoring this volunteer event and making it possible for 200 children at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital to receive a St. Nick Gift Bag. Your investment in both Yale students and local pediatric patients is helping build a stronger, more compassionate community.
To all of the Yale students who participated—thank you for choosing to start your Yale journey by serving others. Your kindness will make a lasting difference for children and families when they need it most.
Welcome to Yale, and thank you for making your first days on campus ones of compassion and purpose.
