A few weeks ago, she was packed and ready for what was supposed to be a dream vacation to Disney — bags packed, excitement high, and memories waiting to be made. But the night before their trip, everything changed.

Brooke suddenly became sick, and her family learned the news no parent is ever prepared to hear: Brooke was diagnosed with diabetes.

Instead of heading to Disney, Brooke and her family found themselves navigating hospital rooms, medical terms, and an entirely new reality — all in a matter of hours.

That’s where a little bit of joy mattered more than ever.

We were honored to surprise Brooke with some of her favorite toys, bringing her moments of happiness, comfort, and smiles during an incredibly overwhelming time. For a few moments, she wasn’t just a patient — she was a little girl playing, laughing, and feeling cared for.
